SSC Recruitment 2023 for Stenographer: Notification Released for 1200+ Vacancies, Check Process to Apply
SSC Recruitment 2023: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is currently accepting applications from qualified individuals for the positions of Stenographer Grade C’ and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ in different departments. As per the official notification of SSC Recruitment 2023, the minimum age requirement is 18 years, the maximum age requirement is 30 years for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ positions, and the maximum age requirement is 27 years for Stenographer Grade ‘D’ positions.
For the aforementioned positions, there are more than 1200 possible open seats. A computer-based exam and skill test will serve as the foundation for the selection. Only those applicants who pass the computer-based test will be contacted for the skill test. Candidates are required to have passed the 12th grade exam or an exam of a comparable level from a reputable Board or University.
In accordance with the official notification of SSC Recruitment 2023, the grade pay (pre-revised) for the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ position is Rs. 4600, and the grade pay (pre-revised) for the Stenographer Grade ‘D’ position is Rs. 2400. Rs.100 will be paid by applicants as an application fee. The payment of a fee is not required for women candidates, candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD), and ex-servicemen (ESM) who qualify for reservations.
