In order to be considered for NTPC categories, candidates must have passed class 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% overall OR matriculation plus a Course Completed Act Apprenticeship approved by NCVT/SCVT OR matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT / SCVT.
Violin:
The candidate must hold a degree or diploma in instrumental music (violin) from an institution accredited by the government.
Tabla/Mridangam:
The candidate must hold a degree or diploma in instrumental music (tabla or mridangam) from an institution accredited by the government.
