SAIL Recruitment 2023: Centre for Engineering & Technology (CET), under Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), is inviting applications from eligible persons for the various posts for its Headquarters at Ranchi and sub-centers. For the listed positions, there are a total of 10 open positions.

According to SAIL Recruitment 2023 official notification, applications are invited for the following Posts:
- Manager (Coal, Coke & Chemical) - 01
- Manager (Civil & Structural) - 02
- Manager (Process, Control & Automation) - 01
- Manager (Electrical) - 02
- Manager (Mechanical/ U&S) - 02
- Manager (Technology – Iron & Sinter/ Steel/ Rolling Mills) - 02
There are a total of 10 open positions for the specified positions.
Age-Limit for SAIL Recruitment 2023:
The age of the candidate shall be below 35 years to be eligible to apply for the given posts.
Qualifications for SAIL Recruitment 2023:
The applicant must be in possession of a B.E./B.Tech. (Full Time) in Chemical Engineering from a government-accredited university or institute.
(ii) The applicant must have prior experience working for a public limited company, government agency, or public sector undertaking.
(iii) He or she must have at least 7 (seven) years of post-qualification experience in the executive cadre (after a B.E./B.Tech.) in consulting, design and engineering, projects and construction, operation, and maintenance, specifically in the following areas:
One type of by-product recovery Coal chemical plant with coke ovens
For Manager (Civil & Structural) Position:
(i) The candidate must hold a B.E./B.Tech. (Full Time) degree in the field of civil engineering from a government-accredited university or institution.
(ii) The applicant must have prior experience working for a public limited company, government agency, or public sector undertaking.
(iii) In order to participate in a multidisciplinary project, he or she must have at least 7 (seven) years of post-qualification experience in the executive cadre in consulting, design and engineering, projects, and construction in any of the following fields:
1. Design of Steel and Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) Structures
2. Design of Permanent Ways and Highways
3. Sewage and Water Treatment Facility

Minimum Qualifying Marks for SAIL Recruitment 2023:
Candidates must possess a degree in engineering with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50%. (for Reserved posts) 60% (total) for candidates who are GENERAL/OBC/EWS who are applying for UR positions.
Pay Scale for SAIL Recruitment 2023:
Applicants chosen for the aforementioned positions will be given consideration for ongoing employment in the E-3 grade with a salary range of Rs. 80,000 - 2,20,000.
At a minimum E-3 grade, the CTC will be approximately Rs. 22 lakhs per year (without PRP, location-based allowances, etc.).
Selection Procedure for SAIL Recruitment 2023:
The written test (computer-based test), the interview, or both will be used to choose candidates for the positions. The eligible candidates will be informed of this via email, SMS, call letters, and the SAIL website. The call letter will be accessible for download on the SAIL website if a Written Test (CBT) is scheduled.
Application Fees for SAIL Recruitment 2023:
The selected candidate shall have to pay an application & processing fee (for General/OBC/EWS candidates) of Rs. 700 to apply for the given post.
The candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/ESM categories will have to pay a processing fee of Rs. 200.
