OIL Recruitment 2023: Oil India Limited (OIL) is seeking suitable applicants for the contractual positions of Geologist-I and Geologist-II. There are currently two open positions. To apply for the listed positions, applicant must be at least 24 years old and no older than 45 years old. The chosen individual will be paid Rs.70,000 each month.
The candidate’s performance in the walk-in interview will determine his or her selection. As mentioned in the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, candidates must have an M.Sc./M.Tech. in Geology/Applied Geology from a government-recognized institute and a minimum of 02 (two) years of experience. Geologist-I
- Candidates must have M.Sc./M.Tech. in Geology/Applied Geology with a minimum of 02 (two) years of experience from a government-recognized institute.
- A PhD with a specialisation in Organic Geochemistry is required.
- Qualification Work experience of at least one year in a geological laboratory of the oil and gas industry, a research organisation, a university, or an institute.
Geologist-II
- Candidates must have M.Sc./M.Tech. in Geology/Applied Geology with a minimum of 02 (two) years of experience from a government-recognized institute.
- A PhD with a specialisation in Micro-Paleontology is required.
- Qualification Work experience of at least one year at a micropaleontological laboratory of the oil and gas business, a research organisation, a university, or an institute.
Service Period for OIL Recruitment 2023:
As given in the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, the assignment is made on a contract basis and the selected applicants will be appointed for a tenure of 01 year which can be extended by another 01 year, with a maximum duration of two years.
Selection Process for OIL Recruitment 2023:
According to the official OIL Recruitment 2023 notification, candidates will be chosen based on their performance in the walk-in interview. A 100-point walk-in interview will be used to choose the candidate.
