Indian Army Recruitment 2023 for LDC, Stenographer and Messenger: Know How to Apply
Indian Army Recruitment 2023: Applications are being invited from eligible candidates of Indian Nationality for the under-mentioned Group ‘C’ posts including Stenographer, Lower Division Clerk, and Messenger in the Indian Army, under the Ministry of Defence in Station Cell Bengdubi Military Station (West Bengal) and Station Headquarters Binnaguri (West Bengal). There are a total of 03 vacancies for the different posts, one for each.
Eligible and willing candidates may send their duly filled applications in the prescribed format attached to the address given in the official notification (link given below) through a Registered post/ Speed post. The applications must be sent on or before 15th April 2023 (1700 Hrs).
As per the advertisement for Indian Army Recruitment 2023, applications are being invited for the following positions:
The age of the candidates to be eligible to apply for the released vacant posts should be between the below-mentioned age limit:
(a) For Stenographer Grade-II/ Lower Division Clerk/ Messenger
Eligible candidates should belong between the ages of 18 and 25.
(a) For the Post of Stenographer Grade-II
(i) The desirous candidates must have cleared 12th Class or equivalent from the recognized University/Board.
(ii) The candidate should possess the relevant Skill Test Norms as given below:
(iii) Candidates should be able to perform 10 minutes of dictation at an average word rate of 80
(iv) 50 minutes (for English) or 65 minutes (for Hindi) (on a computer)
(b) For the Lower Division Clerk Post:
(i) The eligible candidate should have obtained their 12th Class or equivalent examination certificate from a recognized Board/ University.
(ii) The candidates should be able to do English typing at 35 words per minute on a computer or Hindi typing at 30 words per minute on the computer (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute corresponding to 10500/9000 Key Depressions Per Hour (KDPH) on an average of 05 key depressions for each word).
(iii) Eligible applicants should have basic computer knowledge.
(c) For Post of Messenger:
The candidate should possess Matriculation (10th Class) or equivalent certificate from a recognized Board.
(a) Stenographer Grade-II:
The selected candidates will be put at Pay Scale Level – 04 (Rs. 25,500 - 81,100) Rs. 25,500.
(b) For Lower Division Clerk:
The candidates selected will get a salary at pay scale Level – 02 (Rs. 19,900 - 63,200) Rs. 19,900.
(c) For Messenger:
The candidates selected will be given monthly pay at pay scale Level – 01 (Rs. 18,000 - 56,900) Rs 18,000.

The application deadline for open advertising is 21 days after the advertisement first appeared in the Employment News, except the day it was published. Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Lahaul, and Spiti district, Pangi Sub Division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep candidates are exempt from the 28-day deadline if their applications are submitted by the deadline.
