CBI Recruitment 2023: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Government of India invites applications from experienced and qualified working personnel for the vacant post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) on a deputation basis. According to the official notification of CBI Recruitment 2023, the engagement of applicants will be made for 15 vacancies in the pay level-10 Rs.15,600-39,100/- plus Rs.5400 grade pay. Candidates will be appointed on a deputation basis (short-term contract basis). The selected candidate will receive a significant increase in their monthly compensation through a special security allowance of up to 20% of total pay.

A period of deputation (including short-term contracts) in another ex-cadre job held immediately before the present engagement in a similar or different Central Government body or department must not exceed more than three years. In the absence of an Additional SP in the designated branch, the job holder will oversee and conduct investigations into the cases that are assigned to him as well as assist with administrative, accounting, or establishment tasks.
