BSF Recruitment 2023: The Border Security Force (BSF) is hiring eligible candidates for the post of Constable (Tradesman) (Male and Female) to be appointed in the Border Security Force. As per the official BSF Recruitment 2023 notification, there are 1284 vacancies for his post (1220 – Male, 64 – Female). The mode of selection will be through written examination.
The last date for application submission is 27th March 2023 up to 11:59 pm. Before submitting an online application, candidates should review the requirements for educational certificates, trade experience certificates, age, physical standards, physical efficiency tests, and so on are eligible for the post before applying. BSF reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate at any stage of the selection process if he/ she is found not to qualify for any of the prescribed eligibility criteria.

Qualification for BSF Recruitment 2023
The following trade qualifications are required for this recruitment drive:
For Constable (Cobbler), Constable (Tailor), Constable (Washerman), Constable (Barber), and Constable (Sweeper) trades:
- Candidates should have obtained Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board and must be proficient in the respective trade;
- Candidates must successfully complete the trade test in the relevant trade administered by the recruitment board.
For Constable (Cook), Constable (Water Carrier), and Constable (Waiter) trades:
Candidates must possess a Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board and should have done a National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) level-I Course in Food Production or Kitchen from the National Skill Development Corporation or Institutes recognized by the National Skill Development Corporation.
Note:
Candidates with several skills will be given preference. Other than State Board/Central Board certificates, educational certificates shall be accompanied by notifications from the Government of India declaring that the qualification is comparable to a Matric/ 10th class pass for Central Government service.
Age Limit for BSF Recruitment 2023
According to the official BSF Recruitment 2023 notification, a candidate must be at least 18 years old and no more than 25 years old.
Salary for BSF Recruitment 2023
As per the official BSF Recruitment 2023 notification, the monthly consolidated salary will be of the pay scale between Rs 21700 - Rs 69100 (Pay Matrix Level-3) of the 7th CPC + other allowances as admissible to Central Govt. employees from time to time + Ration allowance, Medical assistance, free accommodation, free leave pass, etc. are granted which are admissible to BSF employees.
